When you’re ready to serve, you’ll need to fill out our full volunteer application.

We are always careful about who serves with children and safety is our priority. Hilldale requires all our children's ministry volunteers to complete the following application parts:

Part 1: Criminal Background Check

We’ll need you to agree to have us run a criminal background check. We must run the background check through our system even if you have had one done for your place of employment or elsewhere. This is free of charge to you.

Part 2: Reference Check

Prior to being able to serve with HBC Kids, references will be required.

After you’ve completed your application, we’ll connect and train you for the specific role you’ll fulfill on our volunteer team.

This could be a class, a coffee, or a volunteer-shadowing experience—maybe all three! Don’t worry…we’ll guide you every step of the way!
