ASK: Accountability Questions
Use these questions as a guide for your session. It is not necessary to ask every question, but at least 3 questions from 1-10, and 3 questions from 11-21.
1. How has God blessed you this week? What went right?
2. What problem consumed your thoughts this week? What went wrong?
3. God’s Word: Have you Memorized this week’s verse?
(How many days? How long? Why not? Will you next week?)
4. What has God been teaching you?
5. Prayer: Describe your prayers – for yourself, others, praise, worship, confession, gratitude, supplication.
6. How is your relationship with Christ evolving?
7. Temptation: How were you tempted this week? How did you respond?
8. Confession: Do you have any unconfessed sin in your life?
9. Church: Did you worship in church this week? Was your faith in Jesus strengthened? Was he honored?
10. Witness: Have you shared your faith? In what ways? How can you improve?
11. FAMILY
a.) Wife: How is it going with your wife? (time, meaningful, conversation, attitudes, intimacy, disappointments, irritations, her relationship with Christ)
b.) Children: How are your children? (giving encouragement, quantity and quality time, values education, spiritual welfare)
12. Finances: How are your finances doing? (debt, sharing, saving, spending, stewardship)
13. Time: How have you invested your time around the house?
14. Job: How are things going? (career progress, relationships, temptations, stress, problems, working too much)
15. God’s Will: Do you feel you are in center of God’s will & sense His peace?
16. Thought Life: What are you wrestling with in secret?
17. Service: What have you done for someone else this week which can’t be repaid? (the poor, encouragement, mercy, service to others)
18. Priorities: Are your priorities in the right order?
19. Integrity: Is your moral and ethical behavior as it should be?
20. High Risk: How are you doing in your personal high-risk area?
21. Transparency: Is the “visible” you and the “real” you consistent in our relationship? (if not, in what ways?)
Close with prayer.
Discuss other concerns of the week.
