“Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life in our day. You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life.”

  ~Dallas Willard

We are called to pursue Christlikeness and image God to each other as well as the lost. In a world that glorifies busyness and constantly distracts and demands our attention, we must intentionally identify and eliminate obstacles and self-imposed barriers to success in that pursuit.

Join us as we look into a study by John Mark Comer based on his book: The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. We will take a look at: the author’s definition of “hurry” (hint: it’s not just moving quickly and saving time), the reasons behind this necessary shift in thinking and acting, and finally discuss some practices for everyday life.
